looks like a fresh one. I found a really nice 4x4 dead the other day. Couldn't tell if it was a cougar but def from this winter....of course I had to leave it behind..........

I'm thinkin' that's a permit only area that's closed...... :(  Nice find.  You should go back up there and put in a trail cam.......you might match up that whopper too........ :chuckle:

By the amount of snow on the deer I would say it has been there awhile.  We haven't had any snow in 2 weeks and it has melted big time as you know since then. 

I'm sure someone already took home my match.   :'(

I like to think that the cougar recently killed that and placed a large chunk of snow on it to keep it cool for later consumption haha.
