Great day!
« on: January 23, 2011, 08:53:49 PM »
My father and uncle came over for a last hunt of the season. I was stressing the hunt and wanted them to have a good time. Well turns out we fell short of a full limit for 4 guys by one bird. Yes most of them are bufflehead head, but hey they cook up good. We even got checked by the wardens out there in the blind and he said "what are you going to do with all them bufflehead."  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Well it was good times all around with a lot of shooting.

Wish I could have shot better!  But I have an excuse, first duck hunt in seven years.  Those things fly so fast, took me a full two boxes.  LOTS OF FUN!!!!!  They're going to be great as kabobs on the BBQ.
"A peculiar virtue in wildlife ethics is that the hunter ordinarily has no gallery to applaud or disapprove of his conduct.  Whatever his acts, they are dictated by his own conscience, rather than that of onlookers.  It is difficult to exaggerate the importance of this fact"
- Aldo Leopold
