i will be getting a "well used" baby eagle from my brother that owes me money. has surface rust, looks like hell but still shoots amazing. not looking to spend a boat load of money on it (as little as possible within reason) but want a nice matte/flat black finish. is there anyone on the wet side that does it or know where it can be done for you?

i clicked on the aggressive designs website and it went to a search type site, is that not there home page? if they have decent prices i might have to go there sense its so close to home.

My suggestion would be to call them direct during normal business hours.  Then again, I've heard of other people that have done it themselves, you can use this website for more info on Duracoating firearms and/or doing it yourself.  http://www.houtsenterprises.net/index.html

I wouldn't use Duracote. Look into Cerakote. Its ceramic based instead of epoxy. My dads having a rifle done right now. If you are near Gig Harbor and would like the info for a great smith, shoot me a pm. He'll do a bolt rifle for $150. Not sure what his pistol prices are.

I would prefer cerakote too but if you want duracoat, There's a guy that goes by "Tactical Assault" on seattle guns dot com that does it. He's in Redmond.

Duracoat for Rifles

Ceracoat or Cera-hide for handguns if you want the best.
