Kind of weird but worth asking.....
« on: January 26, 2011, 09:02:36 PM »
My roommate has a hedgehog that she wants to have mounted when he dies. Told ya it would be weird. She was asking me how much it would cost if its possible to pull off. She said it would be a cool paper weight, posed in a puffed out self defense kind of way. For all the taxidermists out there... how much would this cost? Could you pull it off?

I had someone at the begining of hunting season call me and ask me about a hedgehog.  :o

Tell her she is probably looking at around $300.  Give or take.

Do you realize some of the weird calls we get?

I had a lady call me a few month ago about freeze drying a horses heart.

I get calls about pets all the time.  Usually when I start going into the process they decide cremation or burial is best.

My favorite is the ones at 2 and 3 in the moring asking for a ride home after they are plastered.  Yeah guy I'll be there in 20 minutes.  Click.  Rollover go back to sleep.

Mich:
That's nothing I get at least one call every year (about this time) asking If I can e-file their taxes so that they can get their return back faster :bash:

I would think that anyone that stupid would be tax exempt.

My responce this year will be "I guarantee a free audit with every return"

Kuduman I get those calls too.  I play the part for a while just to screw with them.   Set them up with an apointment and when they ask me what I think it will cost them to have them done I tell them 1/2 of what ever they get back.

Send it off to be freeze dried, that is one of the more preferred methods on small critters.
