Much better night!
« on: January 27, 2011, 07:23:38 AM »
Last night was MUCH better.  Treed two coons in seperate trees and the dogs treed on a tree where there was a fresh pile of coon poop on a limb about 6 feet off the ground.  Plus I got home and in bed by 0114.  Shot one and left one to run another night.   :)

Looks like fun. Used to coon hunt with dogs as a kid in Wisconsin. Loved hearing the dogs at night and running through the swamps woods, briars chasing them

Thanks for sharing

Dang Fred...I thought you got out of the dog business...how many do you own now?

I did, but when I drew a Idaho hound permit for 2011 I started collecting dogs again.  I have three dogs now.  However, I only had one out last night.  The other dogs belong to an older gentleman I hunt with sometimes.  My dog Bo was the lighter colored merle in the photos.  The darker merle is Buddy an 8 year old Leopard Cur, good dog.  Last night was the first time I have hunted the new dog, the lighter colored merle, and I and tickled PINK.  He did an outstanding job.
