Anyone tried a new Ithaca Model 37?
« on: January 27, 2011, 08:03:20 PM »
Always liked the Ithaca Model 37 and I've been thinking about ordering a 16 gauge
However, the company has switched hands several times over the past decade and I haven't personally seen or handled one of the new offerings from the Ohio plant. Just wondering if anyone here has actually tried one of the new Ithaca guns? And, if so, what were your impressions?

Thanks.

I haven't had a chance to handle one yet but I hav 3 from the Kings Ferry plant and have been happy with them.  From everything I have read the new ones from Ohio are even better.  Lots of good info on the Shotgun World forums, go down to the Ithaca forum.

I will hopefully be ordering the new waterfowl model for my son for his birthday in September and if I can squirrel away enough pennies one of those sweet little 28's for his graduation.

Adventure Sports in Lynnwood is a dealer, I know one of the guys that works there and they ordered one in for someone last summer.  He said it was a very nice gun.
