haha. no I really do. How hard are the bucks to hunt down there? If I can save up enough money for the trip then I'm going!

I guided whitetail deer hunts in every part of Texas this year from september through december. North texas has whitetail that are very similar body size as our whitetail in washington. North texas was my favorite part of Texas to guide, Its pretty open country, not very thick and the doe to buck ratio is absolutely amazing. There is not as many deer there as there is in parts like south Texas, but the bucks in north Texas have unbelievable genetics! Definitely bring your rattling horns they are very aggressive and its not uncommon to rattle a buck in from a mile away. Not much of sitting under feeders up north its a spot and stalk game in most parts. Rut starts right around Thanksgiving ;)

I was all around Lubbock i can show you some deer that we harvested, all that were over 145 in's awesome country just windy and dusty
