Hey Bone, add a 1/8-1/4 tsp of ground cloves (to your taste).

I did this on my second batch and  :tup:

I also reduced the sugar to 3 cups. It was not as sweet as the original recipe  ;)
If you like sweet, then stay to the recipe.

Sand in your shorts is a popular drink at Red Robin.   Its a good summer drink.  I didn't realize you practically need a science degree to make the thing.  Good thing I am a lab person.

I always put in the cloves but have never ground them.  I also have never put in any sugar.  That has to be some sweeeeeeeeet stuff.  With no sugar I wouldn't be able to guess that there was any alcohol in it.
