Got my First Woody Today....

Made one last go at it this morning with low97ram. He shot a nice Golden Eye and I shot my first Wood Duck  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Did not realise how beautiful of a bird they are, I think I am going to have it mounted (pic don't do the bird justice)







Love the look of the head gear on it. The colors really don't come out on thses photos  :bash:

Pete (low97ram) has shown me the in's and out's of duck hunting this year. It is my first year and I have herd him many times about wanting to get a Wood duck. He even has gotten excited when talking with other hunters and they mention seeing wood ducks in the area, and today, the last day of our hunt for the season, i nail one  :rolleyes:

Did not understand why he wanted one so bad, now I know, they are a cool looking duck. I have looked at many different pic of mounts using google, and the best pose I have seen sofar is the pic that Bone took and posted today. that would be an awsome pose for a mount.

And Ice, just trying to see what it takes (or post) to be a offical YAR member  ;) )
