what's your favorite way to hunt bears?

Up in the high country in late august and september. Glassing and then stalking or just sit in the berries and eat them till a bear comes along, don't like sharing my berries. LOL

Thanks for all the tips.   This is my first bear hunt so believe me I appreciate the tips.   I like the idea of calling and spot and stalk.   What do you think is a good time / place to call for a bear.   I've talked to people that use rabbit in distress calls do they work well or what calls do you prefer.

my most productive method has to be glassing two -three year old clearcuts or high meadows.
but the way i love to do it most of all is to stillhunt. i also enjoy still hunting elk the most. like i said not my most effective but my fave
