Older Blacktail
« on: January 31, 2011, 01:33:56 PM »
Now this one ticked me off a bit.  I've searched this open flat a million times and only come up with one chewed forky two years ago.  Given the moss growth I must have just walked over, around, and by it dozens of times without seeing it.  This day I just saw the tip and thought it looked odd.  Must be at least 5 years old.  The last photo includes a heavy old shed from the same area, found last winter.

Dandy BT sheds!  The damn leaf cover hides 'em pretty well, makes them easy to walk right by.  :bash:

It sounds like you are a little peeved at missing them the first several times around. :chuckle:  I think that the moss on one and the odd weathering patter on the other adds great character to them. Very nice, thanks for sharing.

AWESOME shed, even if it is a few years belated.. nice find!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.
