What caliber is the rifle in you first pic there jackalope?

The barrel in the top pic and the deer is pic is my 300 win mag. It's got a Defensive Edge muzzle brake on it.
The one with the telescope looking scope is my 22-250 barrel. Same frame in all 3 pics.

I know a guy that has encore pro hunter stainless 243 with an off brand scope on it he bought it new and put a scope he had on it and never sighted it in. He wants 400 bucks for it should i snatch it up or let it walk?

Check it out, if its in good shape, BUY IT.  The PH's go for considerably more than the standard blued version w/ black syn stock. His loss, your gain

$400 is a steal.  My .243 barrel is very accurate.  For that price just buy it because you can shoot it for awhile and if you do not like you will easily be able to sell it for a profit.
