new to the site
« on: May 07, 2008, 07:53:57 PM »
Iam new to hunting WA, did a rifle hunt in 335 last year. Im goning to bow hunt same unit this year, im wondering when the rut usually starts in that area.  I heard a little bit of bugling last year but not a whole lot.  Im also wondering what kinds of calls and tecniques work for the spike around that area?  any advice is appreciated.

Welcome not sure about the rut there I would imagine it can vary from year to year... Lots of cow call's on the spike's.. Try some of Glen Berry's calls "Fatal atraction" is realy good, I carry about six diff. estrus calls..Good luck :cue: :cue:
