Coon hunting spots
« on: February 02, 2011, 08:17:42 AM »
Anyone have any coon hunting spots within...say 60 to 70 miles of Spokane that they'd like to share or go to with me.  Needs to have a running creek, stream, river.....few, if any, roads and enough space for the dogs to get out a bit.  My dogs are Leopard Curs so they do not range as far as hounds do.  They hunt a bit closer.  Your more than welcome to tag along and shoot any coons you want, heck you can do all of the shooting.  Have dog, will travel.   :hello:

Thanks for the offer, just a tad far for a coon hunt, I appreciate it though!   :)

That might be fun for a weekend or two trip, come down on a Friday and head home Sunday morning.  Any place to sleep in a camper while I'm down there?  Thanks!

Sounds like a hoot, I know I've seen a lot of coons all along that Pend Oreille river.
I don't have a particular spot though, might be worth it to get a public lands map or hunt timber company lands.

That's funny I saw this thread. Neighbor called me last night. Had a few coons coming up and eating the cat food on his deck. He invited me over to solve the problem.

I can wait if you want to bring the dogs all theway  over by Ellensburg
