I've never hunted with Larry, but I have met him a few times.  He is a float hunting fanatic.  Between him and Micheal Strahan there are no better authorities on Float hunting in Alaska.  If you go with Larry you won't be disapointed.

Wait a second- I thought this was 2011 ???  Wouldn't that make "next year" 2012?   :dunno:

Or am I really a year behind?  :yike:

OK, just wasn't sure if you really were planning that far ahead.

Have used Pristine Ventures twice for moose. Will do so again for moose if I ever to hunt moose again up there. Larry comes across to me as a passionate man about the quality of product he puts out.

I have a trip scheduled with him for this September 13 thru the 25th 12 day float for Moose!!  I cant hardly weight, talked with Larry a couple times over the years and finally went threw with it this year.  Gonna drive up and hunt the Haul rd for caribou first then go float a remote Brooks range river for Moose, should be a trip for the books!!!!!

Bear hunter keep us posted. Are you using a rifle or a bow. I would like to use my bow if possible?

I am a bowhunter at heart but like to increase my odds of a harvest when spending this type of money for a hunt.  I will be using my rifle for this hunt as I dont want to miss out on an oppurtunity to harvest a bull that may just be out of range.  If Im lucky enough to harvest a bull this trip, I will probably strive to shoot one with the bow next.  The bush flight alone round trip is $3300, prices have gone way up in Alaska in the last five years as far as flights go.  Raft rental is $1440 for 12 days.  I will keep you posted.
