I got a model 70 classic in 300 rum for 350.00. The guy got the gun put 20 round threw it and didn't like it. It's been a great gun for me and has put down some of my biggest deer.

I've done a few outstanding deals.  Best one was at a estate sale...
2 - Browning Superpose Lightnings  12 and 20.
1 - Beretta BL-4 28 gauge
1 - Pre 64 Modle 94
1- Monarch Pump 410?

Guns sat for a day and no one bid..all of them for $1000.00
I just stopped in out of the blue and there they were.
Still have them all.

We need to link the classifieds to this add  :chuckle:

My father in law dropped by my house a few weeks ago with a 12 gauge shotgun and a 7mm mag and said he never really used them and he new I would. Still a little lost why but I was okay with it.

I got a nice 45/70 guide gun on this site a couple years ago with about 100 rounds for $375

I'll start off...

1.  A few years ago, I bought a brand new Win 70 Coyote (stainless/heavy barrel) in .25 WSSM with a new Sightron SII 3-12x42, 5 boxes of Win Supreme ammo, and gun case for $300.00.  Bought it from a guy who was about to claim bankruptcy and needed some quick cash.

2

I will give you $350 cash for it  :chuckle:

Saw my neighbor headed to the car with a cased rifle.  Asked him if he was going shooting.   He said he was headed to the pawn shop to sell some guns.   They offered him:
  *  $125 for a Model 700 Safari Grade 375 H&H with 3/9 Leupold and fancy sling (shot less than 10 times in mint condition)
  *  $100 for a model 70 youth in 234 hunted with once
  *  $50 for a beat up 670 in 270 with an old 4X weaver
  *  $75 for a Ruger 9mm pistol, nickel plated I think, and nearly new

I told him he was getting jobbed and offered to take them and sell them.   He didn't want the hassle, he only wanted them out of the house.  he finally offered me the ultimatum:   Pay him what the pawn shop would, or he'd go pawn them.

Needless to say, I made room in my safe.

Hey, anybody in the market for a 375 H&H magnum......... 8)

You bet I'm in the market for a 375 H&H, I'll give ya $150 for it. ;)
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

i ran a pawnshop for 6 1/2 yrs, had an atf agent call me last year and tell me that he was confused how a co worker and i could possibly of bought 400 or so guns and whatdid i do with mine. he had done  an audit on the shop and kept finding 4473 with mine and tims name on them. the best one of all time was through a series of trades i had little money in, i got to order a custom rifle of my choice. my choice, weatherby accumark 7mmwby, christensen arms barrel, sworovski 4x16 30mm tube, timney trigger, jeweled bolt, mcmillan stock. i still have that gun. i figure i have around a grand in it of my own money. p.s if you have questions about how pawnshops work, not the tv crap, let me know!
