STKNSTRINGBOW, they have them right there by you in Mayfield Lake. It is a blast to catch them, biggest one so far has been 48inches. They changed the law a couple of years ago to 50 inch plus now.

They changed the law a couple of years ago to 50 inch plus now.I know about Mayfield, been on it a few times, actually according to my resources, Lake Tapps is the better fishery for them.I was just saying what a blast it would be on a fly-rod (actually pictured Fly-rod and a float-tube)Unfortunately ever since my kids came along I dont get the time to do my own fishing any more, when taking them out, we gotta catch something (no more 1000 cast days)
Twice we have hooked into tigers while fishing 4lb test for trout on Mayfield. It makes for an intense minute or two before they snap off, lol. I never have got one close to the boat though. Can scare the crap out of you when they first hit a ultra light pole trolling.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.
i have heard rumor of muskies in some of the lakes in skagit/whatcom county... guess ive been watchin the outdoor channel too much but looks like fun. anybody fish for em or can anybody validate what lakes have them? thanks-erik
