Beau Mac floats! All the way to the cooler :IBCOOL: They are the best! Sive depends on what the water conditions are. Most times for me 1/2-1oz :IBCOOL:

jab89, do you have that backwards?  Wouldn't they sink?  My favorite isn't made anymore, but the beau mac's look pretty good, the steelhead stalkers, and the thills too, depends on the water clarity, and how rippled it is....

I've been really happy with the Drennan Floats. Check out this review. Steelhead Stalkers does a great review and what size to use. http://www.steelheadstalkers.com/review_drennan.htm

great responses and links.I never thought about floats, but tried yesterday and love the way you can work them.I could fish more water without moving so much.I will switch to a spinning rod and some floating line though..the casting rod seemed I had to toss to hard to get were I wanted to be..
