the ultimate question... new muzzleloader... or new bow...
« on: February 05, 2011, 12:58:44 PM »
my current muzzy was built from one of those kentucky rifle kits from traditions... not exactly the greatest gun but it shoots ok-ish- guess i got what i paid for...

in otherwords, it looks better than it shoots, so ive come to the conclusion that i have a choice, i can either get the bow ive been wanting for a while, or a new muzzleloader...

as far as muzzleloaders go what would you guys reccomend? there really isnt much of a selection around here. im thinking of something around 400$... im a fan of the T/Cs- im considering the omega, but i see that they have a "northwest special" made for #11s,but you can get nipples for almost any gun... also a fan of the lyman deerstalker, but im pretty sure i want an inline. something stainless too

decisions decisions.............................

catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

Can't go wrong with the Knight Bighorn.

My Lymans are very accurate. I prefer the traditional muzzleloaders. There is a nice stainless deerslayer in .54 cal for sale in the classified section. I would buy it if I the extra money, would make a great all weather rifle.
