Any of you guys sell the coyote hides?  I was wondering if they are prime yet.

At the Warden Coyote roundup about 30 or so were pretty good. Of that 30 there were 8 really nice ones... Lots of mange and big holes. (300 win mags do that to them) I think prices are what $20 foe ones prepped and stretched? To make any real money they have to go to one of the fur auctions to be sold... There was an old guy from davenport on the E side that knew all about it... He doesn't do it much anymore cause of bad prices...
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

There are so few fur buyer in the state that selling furs in the round is not practicle unless you live close to one of them.  The Wash. State Trappers Assc. puts on a fur auction in the spring.  If you put up good fur shipping to a major auction house is an option.  You will get the best prices there but you might have to wait for your check.  I've had checks dribble in  for a year when my lots were split.

Here's a tutorial on putting up fur for auction.

Hopefully I'll be shipping to auction next year as I now have a pretty good stock of tanned pelts.

There is a guy located in Pateros, WA named George Brady, that used to buy dogs whole, I am not sure if he still does, but he would put adds in the Nickel, wanting to buy them.
