North Central Washington Lakes Ice or No Ice?
« on: February 08, 2011, 05:15:57 PM »
Hey I am heading home to East Wenatchee for the weekend and I was wondering which lakes have safe fishing ice on them and which don't or are completely free from the ice? Any input and help would be great!

All the lakes you've just mentioned have ice.  Also the south end of Banks is all iced up as well.

All fishable as far as I'm concerned.  I was thinking they might start to go, but NCW temps this week havn't been as warm as earlier predicted.  Thin ice doesn't bother me, as I'm usually always skating on it. ;)

Was at Fish Lake last Friday, a solid 8 inches of good ice with a couple inches of snow on it.

Patterson is fine.  I'm not sure about LK Wenatchee, but I figure it should be ok as well.
