Eastside turkeys?
« on: May 10, 2008, 03:09:09 PM »
I'm headed to the Spokane area next weekend and would like to sneak in a couple of days of turkey hunting. I grew up over there but don't make it back for the turkey season. Does anyone have any info they might want to share or even a hunting partner for a couple of days. I would even trade some sea duck hunting in the Port Angeles area if interested.
Thanks

I was just over in the area and bagged one jake. Are you going to be out that way before the end of the season?

Hunted up in the Huckleberry over the weekend.  Birds were really quiet.  Saw a few hens and knocked an arrow on a jake, but could not close the deal.  Not as many as we saw when the snow was there.  Will try again next weekend.  Lots of deer, bear and coyotes though.
