chinook 3d?
« on: February 09, 2011, 09:34:01 AM »
Looks like there is a 3d shoot in camas this weekend put on by Chinook archery. Thinking about going down on sunday. Is this a good shoot? It is a 2 hour drive from my house to get there. Curious if you think it'll be worth the drive?

Thanks

It should be a good shoot, worth the 2hr drive  :dunno:
I cant wait for the klickitat shoot though, if you've never been to the Klickitat shoot your missing out, it's a blast.

I might double up and hit the show after the shoot. How many targets will there be?  When is the klickitat shoot?

They host good shoots, however i'd bring you mud boots this time of year.  :twocents:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I would love to come down and shoot but its kinda a long way to go from lake stevens.  What I should do is leave early saturday and head down and shoot then go to the show.  I could stay with my uncle in portland then shoot sunday and drive home.  I might just do that.

We went this am. It never rained and was pretty decent. Yes, the lower end does get muddy. It was pretty quiet. Never once had to wait on someone. The guys who were there were pretty spread out.
Can't we all just get along?

We shot it today as well.  Really enjoyed this shoot.  Lots of longer shots with high quality targets.  Probably the best targets I've seen.  Never had anyone in front or behind us the whole time.  Had two kids and 3 adults shooting.  So it was nice to not have any time pressure.  Can't say enough about how much fun we had today.  Will go there again.
