I think it would be pretty good for the house. The only issue I've had from revolvers is when shooting loads around or above the max suggested pressure and making the rounds stick in the cylinder. I doubt this revolver would have those issues. Plus, if it has a rifled barrel....the shot will spread more giving a larger pattern at close range. Unless you guys have houses with 30-40 yard long hallways and bedrooms, a bird gun with buckshot will be like shooting a rifle anyways.
