Custom Arrow Wraps
« on: May 13, 2008, 12:33:17 PM »
I was curious of how many of you out there use custom arrow wraps or use wraps on your arrows at all??  These were just made for me for the caribou trip with cameron and kip this fall to support the hunt and sponsors! They are 5" long and 1" wide.  I'll have to get them put on some arrows and post the full arrow here shortly!

I have BattleDrum Arrow wraps.  Not custom, have not decided what I would want for custom ones yet.

Ive done the arrow wrap thing in the past but never any customs, those are pretty cool by the way.  I dont like the weight they add to the back of the arrow though, not a big deal though with feather, or these new weight forward shafts.  Lets see them finished.

I use ASAT Camo wraps on all my hunting arrows.  There's not much videoing of the local 3D shoots, nor is ASAT a big competition shooting supporter, but I still like the look of black and white feathers on ASAT wraps, so I also use them for 3D.  Maybe you guys have better scales than I do, but I haven't been able to find a wrap that weighs over a few grains even with some 9" ones that I got and cut in half; I've just got the "deluxe" model digital scale from Cabelas, nothing fancy.  What are you guys weighing them at?

I haven't really used wraps in the past... once a few years ago so I was a little on the fence about them but I think they'll be ok.  They only weigh like 4 or 5 grains and my fletching weight 5 grains a piece... But my front of center right now is 12.44 so I think I'll be fine with the wrap on there as far as that goes.  The only thing will be shootin' em' and seein how they fly! I don't see it being an issue though..

I use the Blazer Wraps. They make your arrow easier to see in flight and only add 5 Grains of weight!!! I am currently building my arrows and will post when I complete them. ;)
