I hope it works. It would be pretty cool to have another game species in the state to hunt. But for now, I will just go to Wyoming.

I would love to see Antelope multiply and spread.  :IBCOOL:

Seems like I heard they were checked for disease when released, does anyone know if the disease tests showed anything?  :dunno:

Ya know? I love antelope in Wyoming and down in Texas. I would rather see mule deer out there. Antelope are not indigenous, and are more like feral pigs to me. But then, I’m at least the fourth generation Washingtonian, with two generations of younger guys behind me. I remember when the mule deer were like these pix. But nice pix.
times before with just leather, wool and cotton.

My guess on the different color ear tags is male female
These all look like does to me. Males have black faces and black cheek patches. And I'm pretty sure they'd have some horn growth by now.

I agree no black cheeks, all does, but likely some or all are pregnant.

I thought they would release that all tested neg.  So..... does them NOT coming out with the test results mean anything?

There is another group of 4 does and a blue ear tagged buck about 5 miles from that first group.  I got some pics but they were 500 yards out.  I'll see if I can find em closer where I can get pics without disturbing them.

"We found the Antelope extreemly shye and watchfull insomuch that we had been unable to get a shot at them; when at rest they generally seelect the most elivated point in the neighbourhood, and as they are watchfull and extreemely quick of sight and their sense of smelling very accute it is almost impossible to approach them within gunshot... they will frequently discover and flee from you at the distance of three miles. I had this day an opportunity of witnessing the agility and the superior fleetness of this anamal which was to me really astonishing... I beheld the rapidity of their flight along the ridge before me it appeared reather the rappid flight of birds than the motion of quadrupeds."
