how'd i do????

we i have been looking for a new deer/elk rifle and finally bought one today.  i got a browning x bolt 7mm rem mag with a bushnell bdc 3-9x40 out the door for 740.00.  its my first browning rifle and im reall happy.  did i get hosed on the price or come out alright???

If you are happy with the purchase and satisfied than I would say you done good. I'm a firm believer in value is more a personal perception. Don't let anyone bring you down and make you feel otherwise. Sounds like a fine rifle, congratulations.

I shoot a Remington 7mm mag with a Leapold 3x9 and love it... You Did Good :)

sounds good . I'd make sure you have some decent rings like the leapolds however . those 7mms will move with weaver style rings .

What a junker!  I wouldn't want you to have to hunt with that POS.  Because I'm a caring human being and I really want you to be happy with what you have, I'll trade you a nice .30-30 with open sites.  Much better rifle for you and I'll give you a deal - straight across trade.  Most other people I'd have them throw in an extra $300 or maybe a pistol.  Just remember, you're trading that for your own good.

Oh, ok.  You did great!  Congratulations on a fine rifle!

Nice gun, but I would have topped it with a leapold scope. But that's just me, what you have will work.
