Someone else was talking about them as well. Seems like a few people have seen them over there. Heck we even have a few of them over the hill.

Years ago, 2002 I believe, I saw a 4x4 way up the Nile.  The rack was AWESOME!  I had the opportunity at 25 yards, but we were focusing on elks instead, so I let him passed.  I never seen him again after that.  I told my friend he was a WT but they wouldn't believe me.  I do my research enough to tell a difference between a WT buck from the BT/Mulley.  I still regret until this day.

I wonder if it would have been legal to shoot a white tail in the Nile unit?  I would think not because it doesn't say white tail is open in those units.

I am from the Yakima area and have heard about some living around the river but I haven't personally seen them.  I have seen about 15 mulies in that area.

Yes it is. I had to look it up, and for whitetail it's any buck. (Not sure why it's not any DEER.  ???

Yeah have posted before.  There is a small bunch between 16 th and 40th along the Greenway.

I also saw one just east of the Vernita Bridge about a week ago.  It was 100% whitetail.

I'm guessing it was during archery season because both elk and deer where open :dunno: it doesn't say anything about white tails during archery season

Yes but thats a draw unit for deer anyway, if you get the tag it doesn't say you have to shoot mule deer or whitetail, but I sure as hell wouldn't waste that tag on a WT
