Wow!  Have to ask, from the bank or from a boat?

We fished Spring Canyon one day, took a boat up the lake because the local spots were busy with other fisherman.  On a 128 mile resevoir there are lots of spots..LOL .  We found untouched waters and lots of hungry trout!  My Son and I went up lake yesterday and we had 10 fish in 2.5 hrs.  We ate hotdogs and hot chocolate and sat on a sandy beach in the sun!  We even took our two chocolate labs..

Not too much skill involved..LOL  No problem Jim.  The Rainbow will bite all year but it is from December through April is the hottest in my opinion.  Most of their diet is a krill of some kind, 95% of thier stomachs are packed with it.  The silvers should be heating up too.  I marked several down at 40 ft yesterday.  When it is sunny they drop from the surface a bit.  The siilvers are fighters and probably the best eaters for sure.  I had one on but that was it.  We troll a little for the silvers but normally just plunk the power dough for the rainbows!  LOL

Wow! You had a great weekend, nice catch!

We fished Sterling Point and couldn't get a bit Saturday morning. Tried the Fort Spokane area too and couldn't get one, we ended up with one on Sunday at Fort Spokane, not sure what we were doing wrong. It's a good thing we had steaks to cook up at night or we would have been hungry!

Bite was terrible today..had some friends come down and they didn't even get a bump.  I had several hits but failed to hook up.  The Lake is still dropping.  So the fishing was great the catching was terrible!
