Where is a good place to hunt for woodies.

Does anyone know where a goodmplace to duck hunt for woodies cause I was gonna get one mounted but someone unplugged are freezer and it went to waist I was really pissed so I was just wondering so I can get one mounted

Maybe the same place you shot the one? :P :P :P

We have a bunch down here, hunt river bottoms, beaver ponds, ect...

um...   yes many "woodies" are found near "beaver" ponds....

I wouldn't hunt this spot they slaughtered all that had existed at this location.   :chuckle:
As mentioned beaver ponds, back waters, flooded timber.  Creeks that run through wooded areas.  You will find them.

:chuckle: I think you got every single wood duck that ever existed in tri-cities that day. So i would advise to not go there, by the looks of that pic, there isnt any left.

send me a message around the beginneing of duck season and I'll be glad to take you out to shoot a mounter woodie. I shot a banded drake this year that I had mounted.
