Back to winter...
« on: February 27, 2011, 05:02:41 PM »
It is really snowing hard, 3 inches in just as many hours and dumping. I'm going stir crazy with all this normal winter weather. Nothing but more snow coming. :bash: This will put a stop to hiking for a while. We sure were spoiled the last month with all that sunshine.

How is the pack ratio up there? I went out last weekend and all the bucks I found were still packing  :bash:

Think of it this way when the snow melts it will be like xmas! with 50 brothers racing you to the gift  ;)

If you gain much elevation there is still to much, trust me I've been monitoring it.  It doesn't take but an inch to cover up the little forkys I find.

I have not been able to get out for a week now, but the last trip I saw several holding and one with one side. I woke to a solid 10 inches and still dumping. Today will be the first time I plowed snow since the new year, might even have to chain up :bash:

That is crazy!  We only got a half inch in my driveway!  Came over the passes yesterday and they were getting hammered.

I love the snow in the mts!!!  Who want to go snowmobiling?!   :rockin:

Love to ride, but the sled is in my shop in dozen pieces. Threw a chain and blew up the chain case. :bash: I'll have to get on ordering some parts this week. This huge snow will make for some awesome high country spring conditions after it settles a bit.

no doubt the snow could go away any time now.  We have had more snow in the last five days than we did all winter long.  We had 22" between last night and today. Heading to bed 11pm and snowing hard.  I would like to going riding some time over the weekend.  let me know if you are heading out mark.

13" More POW the Dancing Worked
Good Morning it's 29 degrees and we got another 13" of snow since yesterday and since Sunday morning we've received 53" here in Paradise but it is settling some, so be careful ot there very punchy...Yesterday while going to clear the dish heard 2 pretty good slides up valley...Not sure when the groomer will run this week holding off I believe to see what this system does and let any slides come on down first, so be aware there is very deep POW out there and slides are likely in areas prone to slides...Peace
