Stepped out side this morning at 6 am. A inch of new snow and the gobblers really going off. One bird gobble and immediately a half dozen more sounded off.
Moved to the wet side from Chewelah, I miss waking to the sound of spring. Turkeys gobbling every morning.

They have been gobbling good every morning for several weeks now....

:yike: WHY! :bdid: I hope she , or the job was worth it  :chuckle:.

I know most of us love it on the east side (but we just get to visit) I can not imagine how it would feel to actually call it home and live over here. On the plus side you are only 350 miles away, if it was not for gas prices you could visit frequently. I have my dog in Chewelah right now doing some stud work, can't wait to get the call to come get him, I miss him a bunch but not the $300 fuel bill it will take to get him home :bash:. Most likely he will be staying there until the youth turkey season. I will take the two kids over for their first real turkey opportunity and bring him home then  :IBCOOL:.
