FNP 45
« on: March 04, 2011, 02:31:07 PM »
I know I just picked up a gun last week but I don't own a 45 and this seemed to fit the bill.  2 14 round mags and 1 15 round magazine, 2 backstraps.  Haven't seen a bad review yet.

Great gun, easy to use with big sights and soft felt recoil, downside is that it's massive so it's a poor choice for concealment. Accuracy is decent with great reliability but accuracy was a bit disappointing so I ended up not buying it. If I hadn't shot a beat to hell ancient Sig P220 right after the fn that spanked it in the accuracy department I probably would have bought it, that said you might want to try a Sig...
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Bought a sig last week.  No need for a carry weapon, have a couple of those...

Do you have a range nearby that rents handguns? I rent stuff just out of curiosity if it's something I haven't shot before and have even a mild interest in.

I do, there are a couple in my area.  I've shot my buddy's tactical version and like it quite a bit.
