I just bought and loaded some 180's for my 300wm. They have a great BC as well.
Curious sako, as to what you plan on shooting with an 85 grainer out of a .270. Yotes? Seems like an awful small grainer for that type of bullet and caliber. Just curious.
I just got an email reply from Nosler this morning concerning the .270 85gr E-Tip bullet. They said it wouldn't be available untill mid summer. I thought it'd make a hell of a coyote bullet. Maybe even good for antelope.
Are we talking the same etip? The etip is a lot like the barnes ttsx. It is a bullet for the bigget of big game. 99% weight retention. I would use a way lesser bullet for a yote, like the there CT bullets. They would be just fine for yotes, but a little more spendy and way over kill is my I just bought and loaded some 180's for my 300wm. They have a great BC as well.
I wish they would make the XP3's availabe for reloading

They might, you can't buy just the bullets. They only sell them in there elite "loaded ammo" series.
