My dad go me out of school early to go hunt with him and our buddy we checked our trail cam on the way in and we had a buck in there before we got there. So we got in the blind and my dad got in the stand we sat for a few hours then had a 5x5 come in and the he ran out, a few minutes later a couple does walked in and kept looking back so i got ready and seen this buck walking up the hill then a bigger one cam out behind him and i instantly started shaking instantly, and our buddy kept tellin me to shoot but i didn't. After what seemed like forever both the bucks walked in and they ran out and its getting dark fast. We sat a little longer and they walked in they walked to the feed pile and turned around i drew back my pse and put my pin right on his opposite shoulder. After i shot we seen him jump and fall down the he got up and took off running. In no time we heard some crashing and he piled up right over the hill about 75 yards with me beman arrow and muzzy broad head stuck in his opposite shoulder. I probably wouldn't have got this buck if it wasn't for my dad and buddy. They also payed for him to get mounted.

Kevin, What a trophy and what makes it more exceptional is you got it with a bow. You'll remember that moment for the rest of your life and having your dad with you made it more special and one day when your with your son or daughter you will tell them the story of you and your dad with your first buck. Congratulations on a beautiful buck and a great story.
