I shot a coyote in the head off-hand at 320 with a .300 Weatherby.. Dumb luck!

the weekend before last i shot a pair at 650 yards two shot two dead yotes and two more popped up but i missed them..I ht an elk at 650 yrds to i use a 7mm remmington with leupold scope its my elk rifle.

wow even more great shots! im pretty new to predator hunting but i was hitting a 16in steel square in goldendale this weekend at around 750 yrds. its a little tough with out a target turret style scope, just hold over and hope:p i have a browning a-bolt in 300wsm shooting 185g bergers at about 3000fps. plain jane leaupold 3x9 scope. i really want to send it in to leupold and get a target turret made for it!!

Yote at 103 yards, with a iron sighted 357 mag, and a 110g hp. With 3 people watching. I also lost some hearing over that yote. Dang ported handguns I have shot yotes at 400+ yards but the handgun yote, takes the cake. Surprisingly I have shot 13 yotes with handguns.

anything with a pistol is impressive as far as im concerned. ya. my dads got a 454 casual that really rights the ears... ported. it shoots a 300gr slug:D do the pistol bullets tear up the yotes like a high power rifle does?

Hahaha! I have shot a few with my 454 raging bull, that's ported as well. Like rifles it depends on the bullets. The hollow points mess them up pretty good on the entrance. A lot more when you hit them in the shoulder Most of the time the bullets don't come out with the 357's.

after setting up my 7mm-08 for long range shooting, i tried it for a couple yote outings, i managed one at 711 yards. went back to the .223 after that, best for the .223 is about 400yrds, was my 12th shot (AR).lol.

A little over 630 meters with a H&K 91.  One shot to the head, damn coyote never knew what hit him.  Shot a bunch of them from the porch at 350-450 yards with the old .300 Win Mag.  It sure makes a mess of them.
