Nice! There are sooo may new long range rifle builders these days, that a guy tends to lose track!
What's the weight of that rig all set up?.......if you know
I have always wanted a .338 edge built by Carlock. The sub 1/2 moa out of his guns is way better than I could shoot them. Yeah, some of the shots I have seen him make on longrangehunting were impressive to say the least.
Do you know how long the barrel is?
carlock is the real deal. we are lucky to have him so close.
He makes some of the best guns out there as far as I am concerned. I have really been looking into his 338 edge. I was up tell about 3 a.m this morning searching and reading on it. Hard to drop 3k+ on a rifle, but his rifles are worth the money. Did he say what the new one is going to be selling for Matt? The rifle I want is about 3,800.00 from him

How light can one of these types of guns be made? I'd rather give up some distance that haul 14 pounds over hill and dale.
ya I would rather take the recoil then carry the weight, get a recoil reducer but pad for the rifle

they make a shoulder pad that looks lightweight, but Im not a big fan of hard recoil either, just bought a 300 win mag only put 15 rounds through it and had to send it back to remington but I started feeling it after a 5 shot groupQuote from: alwinearcher on March 10, 2011, 12:47:49 PMQuote from: NW-GSP on March 10, 2011, 12:45:58 PMya I would rather take the recoil then carry the weight, get a recoil reducer but pad for the rifle Ill take the weight, my shoulder is wimpy!
