I keep telling myself I am going to do just that! Haven't got to it  :bash: :bash: you should see it in person it's really bad a$$! and it didn't cost me a round  ;) Watched a guy lose it and give up and then found it the next day and tagged it  ( after I realized the guy was not even going to go back in a look for it) IDIOT! But don't tell some of my buddies , I have a hellof a story that goes with it  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Got this guy chasing a doe before work one morning. I had to leave him all day and go back and look for him after work.(I was already late) My hunting partner (who is holding him) and I found him just after dark. Talk about going from feeling sick to on top of the world. He has a 23" inside spread, shot at under 30 yards trotting, hit back of liver. I had seen him twice since August.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

You went to work after shooting that thing at 30 yards? You are joking right???

Not joking, I knew he was down and the shot was a little back anyway. It was cold, really cold so the deer was fine. With that being said I have to say it was not the most productive day of teaching. I wish I could find pics of one of my other bucks I got in 2004, almost as big as this guy, wider and taller points but only a 5x7  :chuckle: Lots and lots of time in the field!

BEARS!!! Its my go to bear gun now. I'm in the process of looking for a 1-4x20 leupold for it. I'm shooting 430gr. Buffalo Boars at 1980fps out of it. Great gun, thank you!

:bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: I would say it was the best whitetail year in a decade! All my buddies got big bucks, all 135" plus a couple upwards of 170". Some real hogs, and one nice non typical. I guess since I was not there it sounded better than it probable was but I had new emails everyday with pics of really nice bucks. One of my favorite spots produced a nice 8x8 this year  :bash: :'( I'll be back down  :chuckle:
