Well it sure takes alot of patients ..being from Pennsylvania I thought I could just sit and wait for blacktail .... well kinda if you are looking at alot of country .. but all the nice ones I have gotten were in the Rut and persistance has always been the key .. find the sign and pound it until you get him....I flat out love blacktail hunting and I always bragged up the whitetail but to take big blacktail is a league all by itself...I have been fortunate to live in an area where I killed some dandy animals within miles of my house including my biggest bull which scores 349 1/8 pope & young and finally a cougar that was off the chart for being within 1 mile from my house ...just pounding the brush and never giving up .......

It really is awesome to see what kinda bucks Washington has to offer and to have 3 different species of huge deer makes me all excited ....NICE BUCKS EVERYONE LOVE LOOKIN AT THEM !!!!!   :chuckle:

Yea and everytime I see one of your posts it reminds me I an here in WA and you are in AK where the wildlife out numbers the people 10:1

Watched the episode last night, I like the big Warm looking treestand you were hunting at Matty!  Some of that country sure does look familiar, great genetics thats for sure!!!! :drool:

I watched that episode today... I was like I know that guy! I knew as soon as you said you would let him hunt that stand he was going to at least get an opportunity at that buck  :chuckle:
