"The first sighting of wild pigs in Idaho was in 2009.
Since then, Idaho Fish and Game, and the Department of Agriculture and Wildlife Services have worked with a sense of urgency to remove them.

In the C.J. Strike Wildlife Management Area there have been many sightings of these feral hogs"

While I know they are not good to have, I won't be too upset when the area farmers need help removing them.

Seems hog hunts in Idaho will be the big thing for the next few years, better than a trip down to Texas I suppose

From what I've read, the feral hogs are in Owyhee Co. in SW Idaho.  The non-resident hunting license is about $155...but no tags required, no limit, and year 'round.

I have a lot of kin down there, and from what they have been telling me >:( >:(  Some idiots are raising them, and letting out of state hunters come in and shoot them.  Of course these pigs are escaping from the ranch's they are hunted on.

Those idiot are the European Wild Boar Hunt group...but it's not hunting because you reserve your hog, or hogs, and they have guarantees that you'll bag one.

I buy my Idaho license every year. I have family/friends down that way also...might be something I need to look in to.
