can my taurus 454 casull revolver shoot 45. colt?

That is true.  There never was a cartridge called the 45 long colt.  People started calling it the 45 long colt after the 45 Smith & Wesson Schofield came along.  The 45 Smith & Wesson could be shot in the 45 colt but the 45 colt could not be shot in the Smith and Wesson because it was to LONG.  There is were the long in long colt came from.

I shoot the .45's out of mine...thought they were .45 L.C.
