Olympic Arms K 16
« on: March 11, 2011, 01:57:51 PM »
I am thinking about an AR-15 to replace my Mini 14 for predator hunting. Do any of you have any experience with or comments about the Oly K-16 heavy barrel, Its a flat top with an A2 stock for $650 new. Thanks for any info.

I have one and it's been great for me  :twocents:

Been eyeing one for a few months now, a great buy IMO

Always nice to support the local companies too  ;)

Not sure if this was where you were looking, but try checking out the K16 over at jsgunparts.com. Link
- Looks like they have comparable prices

:)I had one, real nice gun if you like AR's, barrel is too short should be 20 and it is heavy. get a trigger job, sling swivel hole drilled. scopes mount too high.

Get one they are a great gun and are very accurate! The only problem I've had was the scope failing and some reloads not extracting if they wherent fired. It will shoot sub mow all day and it's a quick handling rifle too.

  sling swivel hole drilled. Carl
I agree! never could figure out why they would put a swing on the back but not on the front  :dunno: I did mine took about 10 minutes and much better now
