How heavy?
« on: March 12, 2011, 02:07:24 PM »
How heavy does a tom have to be before they start walking funny (differently) ??
I saw this monster a few years back and he was twice the size if not 3 times the size of the hens and towered over the other toms.
He had a strange way of walking, probably due to all that weight on those two legs.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Most wild turkeys rarely get that heavy.  Not sure if this could happen t some that were a lot.
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

Yeah, after I shot my 2 turkeys, I took a drive and while in some public forest land, I spotted this tom. He had a dozen hens and there were some jakes too.
