Here is a look inside my vest.  What's in yours?  Now I know why my back hurts!  LOL

All of those calls, pots, strikers, box calls and only 3 rounds? Nice assortment of calling devices you have there.
I carry two water bottles, two pot calls, one box call, soon one scratch box, 5 turkey rounds, 10 dead coyote rounds (gives me a feeling of control for any WA predator with DC), TP, chalk, sand paper, scotch brite, Leatherman tool, couple of energy bars, compass, safety orange square to add on bird for carry out and 6 strikers. Must have more stuff but I can not remember what they are. Interesting post, was done on another forum and I learned a lot from things I would never have thought of.

I thought three was too many!...Actually those were the back up..I used my shells up.  I take inventory every year!  Need to go buy more stuff!

Yep..Every striker has a different tone..meaning different sounding hen.  If you add up all of the sound combos I have with those pot calls and strikers...I am set up!  I have a few that I lost apparently..  I need to go buy  a few more now!   .. Actually I have a new tradition when hunting with someone new..I trade strikers..with them after the hunt.

you got the bug bad.you need to seek help fast :chuckle:I have yet to try calling in a turkey..someday I will do it....

I see you like those big long box calls too. I did not see a pruning saw. How many decoys do you carry. I carry two hens and a jake.

Do you process the bird just after you have shot it? Back in the 60's I was sent out to the back yard with a tea kettle of hot water.
Chopped the head off a chicken in the yard, poured water, plucked and processed in less than 10 minutes. The thing I did like is that my family only had one recipe and that called for boiling the chicken, never frying or baking or roasting.

I have a couple of large tool boxes full of various calls.  I usually have about a dozen mouth diaphragms, a box, two pot calls, four strikers, a wing bone, a tube call minimum ... plus 3 extra shells, decoys (sometimes and usually just later in the season), my gobbler lounger or web chair, an adjustable height 12 ft long ground blind, water, snacks, a bloodproof carry out bag with straps, toilet paper, chalk, my pot call preparation stick, knife, small scissors, and everything else in the kitchen sink.

What's really heavy to carry out is the ten guys that want to climb into my back pocket and go along.

Yelp which call is going to bring the big boy in this year. You can't use the zink call since I gave that to ya . That's a hell of a vest ya got there man.

Jealous. I wish I could feel so excite once I hear first sound gobbling in the early morning.  I still don't understand why God put me here with deaf ears.      

Oh well.  Don't feel sorry. It just *censored* happen.  I had good time with a guide guy who take me. It was fun.   I plann to teach my wife how to be good at it this spring.
