Just 'lopes for me this year.  Too much money, not enough time off this year.... :'(

Will have 3 points for speedgoats this year.  Had no idea that Antelope was so friggin' hard to draw in MT :dunno: :bash:.  If I don't draw this year I may have to show up in Helena this summer and lodge a formal protest... :chuckle:

I have 2 points for lope and i'll put in for them if i dont get draw for deer. They are tough to draw, plus I'm putting in for one of the toughest units.

We are decided to do an over the counter deer tag in Idaho as well. Should be pretty fun!

Sounds like we're not the only ones skipping MT this year because of the cost.  I just got a postcard in the mail basically saying
"uh... you haven't applied yet..." :chuckle:

It sucks to not be able to apply because I think the draw odds are really good and I already have a point but for the price it wasn't worth it. Not to mention that our group would have had 6 people applying so even if we did two groups, if we one somehow didn't get drawn it would ruin our plans.  :bash:

Well, like Vandeman said.  The draw odds this year are going to be great for those that can afford it... :dunno:

From the sounds of it,  I might get the deer combo with no pts.  ;)

I think the odds are going to be a little tougher than most folks think, probably around 75-80% on the combo and 40% on the deer, just my opinion though.

a lot of people are still going to pay to go. It's such an awesome experience dad and I had to pay up and put in again. Neither of us are getting any younger!
