Very nice finds. I like to be sympathetic for the bull, but I have seen so many winterkills this year that I've gotten kind of numb to it .. It take's alot of determination to find sheds this late..Most place's have been pounded buy now.Great Job..

Question, when you find a rack with the head still attached do you soak it in peroxide or what do you do with it? Just wondering because it would be a good European

I have a friend who found a sheep skull this last week. She left it and called the WDFW and they let her go get it and keep it. Amazed the heck out of me. So......I would call them and get permission, document the hell out of who I talked to and when with a tape recorder, and then go get it.

Kind of what I told her. She called to talk to my wife about it and I was like YIKES. Don't pick it up. She asked what to do, so I said call them, they'll probably ask you to go get it for THEM. She called back later and said she could have it. I'm like get it in writing.

I have no idea. I've never had the balls to bring one home. This is the third ram skull that I know of that was found this year. I assume the others came home as well, but I don't know that. As far as I know they didn't even ask to see it. I was going to volunteer to clean it up for her, but I don't think I want to touch the thing.

I'd call and ask them and if they didn't agree to let me have it I'd tell them to go find it yourself! ... then I'd most likley go get it in the dark ... ah ... ah ... that is with Pope's phone number in my pocket!

Too bad that bull did not make it through the winter...Yeah it was hot here on the west side, went out hiking Saturday near the pass and it was almost 85 up there. The rivers are really getting big.
