MMMMMMMMMM Pepporoni
« on: March 16, 2011, 05:31:05 PM »
Took a bunch of Duck and Goose breast to Del Fox in Stanwood to turn into pepporoni. They did a excellant job, had it back in one week  I used to have meat proccesed at Owens but I may of found a new favorite.... I think Owens still makes the best jerky though. If in doubt don't be affraid to give Del Fox a chance IMO.....

I had some done last year at Del Fox and it was great. I dropped off enough for another batch this year but haven't got it back yet. It's been a couple weeks, last year took 3 or 4 weeks.  :dunno:

My wife picked up my pepperoni today.  I had it done at Butcher Boy's in Vancouver, WA.  They do great work as well.
Cut em!

Del Fox is great. They do a fantastic job and are very quick to process your meat. Even during prime seasons they seem to have it all back in a week or two. Prices are great. I will continue to use them as long as they keep up the good work.

This reminds me I should get my duck breast's out of the freezer and make em into jerky.

Seabolts in Oak Harbor turned mine around in about a week, and the pepperoni is very good. Ive never had my duck made into pepperoni before, but this is probably what I will do with it from now on
