WWPHA - Youth Predator Hunt Raffle
« on: March 17, 2011, 09:00:55 PM »
The Western WA Predator Hunting Association will be at Cabela's this weekend (3/19-3/20) during their big Spring Outdoor Days event. We will be raffling a youth predator hunt and offering membership specials including free calls with membership.

WWPHA members will be at Cabela's from 7 am to 5 pm Saturday and from 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.

The raffle winner will win a one day predator hunt with FoxPro Field Staff (and Hunting Washington member) Jerry Malbeck. The hunt date will be scheduled by the winner and the hunt will be based on the winners skills and abilities. The winner will also receive a 3 call set from FoxPro as well as a FoxPro hat. Youth between the ages of 10 and 16 are eligible and a valid WA state hunting license is required.

We hope you will come out to support this great event and shoot some bull with us.

There is no chance of my making it to Cabelas this weekend, is there any way for us "northerners" to buy raffle tickets?

If you use PayPal and the buyers select personal, then they buyer pays the processing fees.

And......you can't do raffles over the web. The state considers raffles gambling. That is why hunting raffle chances can't be bought online anymore. In addition PayPay will freeze an account if anyone uses the word raffle.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

We are looking at some ways to open this up to the eastside people including mail in or membership incentives.

Should have some info soon.

Yes Jerry, thanks for your generosity for the hunt and we hoped to raise a lot of funds for kids events.  I just left Cabela's event and it is going pretty well.  Lots of interest in the WWPHA and kids.

TO bad someone had to throw some salt on our good intentions.......... :bash:

Oh well, we are still working on it.

Again thanks Jerry...

I know it is not a "who" or a "State" but a policy that is preventing us from helping the kids right now.  But I an sure we can find a way to help them in some way to hold this Youth Hunt Jerry has so generously donated.  So, do not give up hope... we are working on it.
