spring bear weather?
« on: March 20, 2011, 11:57:21 AM »
does anyone have some info on the weather in the blues? I put in for the lick creek for bear, but if I draw, i'm not too sure how much hunting ill be doing on the 15th? seems they have been getting snow as well? any info is much appreciated. I'll gladly pay you back with a west side forecast. in fact i'll give it to you now..........washougal.........very high winds, rain, rain, wind, probly more rain. Now, this is for east washougal, so plan accordingly!!!! :chuckle: :chuckle:

It's going to be Anyone's guess up there.  In the lick you could have a great forecast and get snow dumped on yeah into may.  Have taken a few bears out of there, hope you get the tag.

It will definitely be the windy season. As Rhino stated the conditions could change pretty fast so snow, rain, and sun could come and go all day. The only thing you can count on that time of year is wind and lots of it.

Thanks guys, I'm well aware of the windy stuff and change of weather. I was just thinking of what kind of snow load was there right now. My hunting partner has hunted the lick for close to 20 years, just not this early. I should wait to ask IF I draw, but I just don't have that kind of patience!
