Here are a few pics of Willow Ptarmigan from last spring and summer up in Alaska. Not Washington I know, but I am trying to motivate myself to get out and get some images. C&C is always welcome. I really need to work on my post processing...

I second that - it's great that you shared these.

In fact, I never had the impression that just because this forum is named "hunting washington" that anyone expects the stuff posted here to come from WA.  We'd really be limiting ourselves, if that were the case.

Cool photos thanks.  I had a bunch nested near one of my camps up there years back.  Got pretty tired of the one that wouldn't shut up.... :chuckle:
